Rev. Eugene T. Miller

Pastor Eugene Tyrone Miller is a native of Kershaw, South Carolina and the son of the late Pastor Powell William Miller and the late Evangelist Eva Mae Miller James. He has two brothers; Ricky Miller, Reverend Terrance Miller and two sisters; Reverend Teresa Jones and Reverend Elaine Miller.

At the age of 12, he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior under his father’s ministry at Second Calvary Baptist Church in Heath Springs, South Carolina, where Dr. H.B. Washington was Pastor. He was called to preach the gospel at the age of 19.

Pastor Miller is a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and York Technical College. He received a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry from Rhema Bible College; located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

He is married to Gwendolyn Murray Miller, and they have been blessed with two sons: Michael Eugene and John Powell.

On New Year's Eve, December 31st, 1998, the Miller Family attended Zion Canaan Baptist Church for the first time and have continued their faithful service here. After serving as an Associate Minister for over twenty (20) years, Rev. Miller became the 8th Pastor of Zion Canaan Baptist Church on March 26, 2023.

Pastor Miller is a Man of God who knows the Word of God and preaches in the anointing power of the Holy Spirit.
